Yes, I still find people who do not know about this : you can find CE marked equipment on the market at very cheap prices and you are told that it has passed CE severe tests for excellent quality standards and complying with strict safety rules.
Remember : Quality never comes cheap !!
The CE mark means that the manufacturer takes full responsibility for the compliance of a product with all applicable European health, safety, performance, and environmental requirements.
So, whenever you find a brand new, CE marked machine for a very low price, you should verify that the C and the E are placed at the right distance as shown above.
There have been legal prosecutions for this matter, but not enough publicity has been done on it and some people are still cheated every day .
